GOSHEN Day Tour(Pty) Ltd is a tour operator incorporated in South Africa on the 12 September 2019. Registration, payment & transaction currency
Our main market being Europeans, we adopted the Euro as our currency of trade, especially with online payments. However we can make specific arrangements for clients who wish to be invoiced in other currencies.
Our company is based in SOUTH AFRICA and is governed by South African laws.
Any registration for one of our trips will be definitively confirmed once the sales contract has been signed and effective once a deposit has been received. For certain trips subject to special cancellation conditions, a second deposit, the amount of which is mentioned in the detailed programme, will be requested. The balance of the trip must be received at least 60 days before departure (If your balance has not arrived within the required time, your registration may be cancelled and subject to the usual cancellation conditions. 60 days before departure, the total price of the trip must be paid.)
Refund / Cancellation Policy
Any cancellation on your part must be notified to us as soon as possible in writing. The payments made will be reimbursed under the conditions below:

Beyond 30 days before departure: 30% of the total price of the trip will be deducted;

Between 30 and 21 days: 50% of the total price of the trip will be deducted;

Between 20 and 8 days: 75% of the total price of the trip will be deducted;

Between 7 days – start date of services: 100% of the total price of the trip will be deducted.
No reimbursement is made in the following cases:

Interruption of travel, unless this interruption occurs due to the organizers.

No show at the times and places of convocation mentioned in the travel book.

Lack of travel documents (passports, visas, vaccination certificates, etc.).

Certain specific services are not reimbursed: ex. plane tickets already issued, show tickets or entrance fees for certain activities, unless the cancellation is due to the organizer.
Special circumstances: Force Majeure
This is an event that happens outside of your control, including natural disasters, civil unrest, ‘acts of God’, global pandemics and any other unforeseeable event that could disrupt your trip. In this case, Goshen Day Tour implemented a system that allows you to postpone your trip to a later date of your choice, without any penalty or rate increase. Your new trip will have to take place within 12 months from the original date of departure however and you can assign someone to replace you if you decide not to travel anymore.
Termination of contract
If you cannot travel, you can be replaced by a person of your choice, provided that he/she fulfils the same conditions to make the trip. You must notify us no later than 15 days before the start of the trip and we will confirm this change by mail or registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt specifying the name, first name and address of the participant. The assignment of the contract remains subject to the availability of air travel to make the trip on behalf of the new participant and if necessary the deadline for obtaining the visa.
Traveler’s safety
For security reasons or on the recommendations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we might have to modify a program or cancel a departure. In the event of a program change, we will reimburse the difference between the original and the replacement services. In case of cancellation of the departure by the organizer, your payment will be refunded. No further compensation can be awarded under these circumstances.
All passengers must ensure that they are medically, physically and / or psychologically fit to travel. We reserve the right not to accept a participant who does not have the skills, or the physical abilities, to perform the walking tours.
